If your go-to radio station has to have today’s top songs, then chances are you have Play 99.5 programmed in your radio favorites. But how much do you actually know about Jordan’s Number 1 Hit Music Station?

Play is the first privately-owned English radio station in Amman.

They changed their frequency this year from 99.6 to 99.5 (to accommodate all cars since American cars do not receive signals from even number frequencies).

Lee McGrath is still waking up the Kingdom on The Big Breakfast Show after 13 years in Jordan.

Their newest presenter Dana Darwish on The Drive Back Show is a soccer maniac and she used to do “Soccer Analysis Reports”.

In 2016, Play 99.5 brought the Grammy award-winning Enrique Iglesias to Amman.

Play held the craziest competition in Jordan “Live in it to Win it” where four people lived in a car for two weeks to win it.

Cars dont broadcast. They receive the radio signal.
