I’m not one to care much about beauty treatments, but if there is one I am quite religious about, it’s keeping polish on my fingers. After two weeks since my first manicure in Amman, my nails weren’t looking good, and my “nervous tick” of picking at my cuticles was not helping the situation. When I was searching for a place to buy cruelty-free cosmetics, I came across Polish Nail Salon in the Abdoun neighborhood and decided to give them a try. I called and booked an appointment for a manicure that same afternoon.
Upon entering the salon, which is located on the top floor of the building, I was impressed by the cleanliness and chic look and feel of the decoration. The selection of nail lacquers was also quite impressive, and they had all the top brands from Essie to O.P.I. The treatment received by the manicurist was very professional and she took her time to make my nails look better than they ever have before. She even had me try a special hand ointment by Amina’s Natural Skin Care line (they sell the cruelty-free, all natural, organic beauty line at the salon).
To sum up my experience, it was the best manicure I have had to date (not just in Amman) and I’m looking forward to trying some of their other beauty services like the pedicure and massage.
